Billing & Cancellations

Q: How much does it cost?

A: To see our current offers, please visit our subscription order page.

Q: Which credit cards do you accept?

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express,. We also accept PayPal, , Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Q: When will I be charged for my CNT subscription?

A: Credit cards are charged as soon as your order is received. It may take up to three days for the charge to appear on your credit card statement. Before the start of each renewal, you will be emailed a reminder notice summarizing the details of your subscription and the rate that you will be charged.

Q: How do I update the payment information associated with my subscription?

A: Visit your Condé Nast Traveler profile page, located in the top right corner of our website, to manage your payment and mailing address information.

You can also update your information by contacting Customer Care.

Q: Can I get a receipt or confirmation of my subscription, account details, or cancellation?

A: Yes, our staff would be happy to send you a receipt. After subscribing, you can expect to receive a confirmation email within twenty-four hours. For all other requests, please visit our Contact Us page.

Q: How do I unsubscribe from Condé Nast Traveler?

A: You can cancel your subscription (or a gift subscription) within your online account page or contact customer service for assistance.

Q: If I cancel my subscription, when does the cancellation go into effect?

A: Although you can cancel at any time during your subscription, subscriptions are non-refundable. Your access will continue until the end of your current subscription after which the cancellation will take effect and no further charges will be made.

Q: I live in the UK or an EU country. What is the cancellation policy?

A: By placing an order for a subscription that includes digital access, you understand that your subscription will start immediately, and you will, therefore, lose your statutory right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of acceptance of your order. Subscriptions are non-refundable, and any notice of cancellation that you provide will only take effect at the end of your subscription period.

Q: How do I check when my subscription expires?

A: You can view the expiration date of your subscription (or gift subscription) via Customer Care.

Q: How do I temporarily suspend my subscription?

A: Subscribers can stop their subscription (or gift subscription) for up to one year and then resume it via Customer Care.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?

A: You can cancel by contacting customer service or cancel at any time within your profile page. Your cancellation goes into effect at the end of your current subscription period.

Q: If I have canceled my subscription previously, how can I sign up for subscription again?

A: You can reactivate your subscription at any time by contacting Customer Care.

General Subscription Questions

Q: What happens if I already have a Condé Nast Traveler account?

A: To continue to have unlimited access, you will need to add a paid subscription to your existing account and log in with the same credentials. Please visit our subscription page to decide which option is right for you.

Q: What happens if I already have a Condé Nast Traveler print subscription?

A: Most print subscribers will automatically have unlimited digital access to cntraverler.com, but you will need to log in using the email address associated with your print subscription and, from there, create a digital account. If you have further questions, please reach out to Customer Care.

Q: I have recently become a Condé Nast Traveler subscriber. How do I log in?

A: After you initially subscribed, you should have received an email containing a link to log in. The link will automatically log you into the site.

You may also use an email and password if you have previously generated one. If you did not receive an email then you can log in to the site with the email you used during your subscription via the sign-in button in the navigation. You can visit https://www.cntraveler.com/account/profile to view your active subscription.

Q: What does it mean to link or verify my subscription? Why is this important?

A: It is possible to create an online account without being a subscriber and vice versa.

To read unlimited articles online as a subscriber, you’ll need to link your subscription to your CNT account.

This process may be necessary for customers who have never created an account or registered an email address with us.

If the system does not recognize you immediately, you will need to enter your account number or subscription number, which can be found in two places:

  1. The Account Summary section of Customer Care and the mailing label of a magazine if you are a print subscriber;
  2. Or select the link to use your shipping address.

Q: Can I sign up internationally? Is anything included/excluded by country?

A: Yes, Condé Nast Traveler is available internationally. To purchase a subscription please check our subscription page.

Q: What does my Condé Nast Traveler subscription include?

A: All subscriptions provide unlimited digital access to the website and newsletters. Print subscribers also receive the magazine's print edition, published eight times per year.

Q: How do I sign up?

A: You can find all of our subscription offerings outlined on our subscription page.

Q: How do I change my subscription term?

A: Please contact Customer Care to make changes to your subscription term.

Q: Can I purchase multiple / group subscriptions?

A: This is not available at this time.

Account creation and management

Q: I forgot my password. How can I recover it?

A:

  • Go to cntraveler.com and click Sign In (top-right corner of your screen)
  • Select “Sign in another way” and enter your email address
  • If you are using a password to sign in, click “Forgot your password? Reset it”
  • If there is a Condé Nast Traveler subscription associated with your email address, we will send you instructions for resetting your password.

Q: How do I make changes to my email address or password?

A: Please visit My Account to manage your cntraveler.com account information, including your email address and password.

Q: How do I make changes to my delivery address, payment details, etc?

A: You may make updates by contacting Customer Care.

Q: I’m having trouble signing in.

A: We’ll be more than happy to help you sign in. Please contact Customer Care.

Gift subscriptions, referrals, and discounts

Q: Can I buy a gift subscription for someone else?

A: At this time you can only gift a print/digital subscription. We do not yet offer digital-only gift subscriptions.

Q: Do you offer a student discount?

A: We currently don’t offer discounts to students.

Digital access

Q: How many people can be logged into my Condé Nast Traveler account at once?

A: All accounts are for individual use only.

App access

Q: How do I get the Condé Nast Traveler iPad app?

A: Download it from the App Store.

Q: What content is included in the app?

A: The app allows you to purchase single digital issues and subscriptions to Condé Nast Traveler's iPad print replica edition through iTunes or the App Store.

Q: Will the app run on my iPhone/Android/BlackBerry smartphone?

A: No. Condé Nast Traveler's iPad app is designed for a larger screen. We hope to be able to offer apps for other devices in the future.

Q: How much does the Condé Nast Traveler iPad app cost?

A: The app itself is free. You can subscribe to the iPad edition of Condé Nast Traveler for $1.99 per month or $19.99 for an annual subscription.

Q: How are subscriptions renewed?

A: If you purchase a subscription directly through the App Store or your iTunes account your subscription with Apple will automatically renew until you cancel it.

Q: What do I do if I want to cancel my subscription on my iPad?

A: Your subscription will automatically continue to renew until you cancel it through your iTunes account. If you would like to turn off auto-renew, you can make that change in the "settings" section of the app.

Q: I have a print subscription. Does it include access to the iPad edition?

A: Access to the iPad edition may be included as part of your current print subscription for subscribers in the U.S. and Canada at this time. You can download the app from the Apple App Store or iTunes. If you are a current subscriber having trouble accessing app content, please contact Customer Care.

Q: I am a current print subscriber and would like to get access to my subscription on my iPad.

A: How to Download the Condé Nast Traveler App:

  1. Tap the tab at the top of the app "All Access."
  2. Follow step 1 by entering EITHER the name and address on your magazine mailing label OR the account number your current subscription. Please do not enter both.
  3. Scroll back to the top of the page and complete step 2. If you have already registered on Condénasttraveler.com you can use that login (email and password) by tapping “yes”. If you do not have a login you can create one by tapping on and filling in the fields for email address, password, and display name.
  4. Tap the "submit" button when both steps 1 and 2 are completed.
  5. A confirmation page will appear with instructions to return to the main page of the app and tap "sign in" on the upper left corner of the page.
  6. Enter your login (email and password).
  7. Your issues will be available for download.

Q: I entered my subscription information but nothing is happening.

A: Be sure that you completed both steps 1 and 2 and tapped the "submit" button.

Q: I tried to create my account, but I received an error message that said this email address is already registered or this login is already registered.

A: Please try signing into the app where it says sign-in on the upper left corner of the main screen. It is possible that the submit button was tapped more than once and your account was created.
